ANNUAL SUMMER INTENSIVE - Conscious Dancing
JULY 14-25 . Led by CMC Artistic Director NANA SHINEFLUG
Week 1: M-F, 7/14-18, Daily Technique Class 10-11:30 am
Week 2: M-F, 7/21-25, Daily Technique Class 10-11:30 am, plus Performance Workshop 12-3 pm with culminating performance at the Hamlin Park Theater Friday 7/25 at 6 pm
Increase the ease with which you dance and the spiritual pleasure you derive from dancing--Nana is a master teacher whose skills can enable you to dance fully from the core of your body. She is especially skilled at seeing what individual dancers' strengths and problems are--enhancing the strengths and correcting the problems. Nana will create a new work on Performance workshop dancers; open to dancers of all levels--the workshop will allow all dancers to dance at their highest level as individuals and students will be grouped according to development.
$250 full intensive; $150 Performance Workshop only; $90 10 technique classes (by 6/15, prices increase after). Drop-in technique classes also available.

WEEK-LONG SUMMER MULTI-ARTS CAMP FOR YOUTH 8-12. August 11- 15, 2008. 10 am - 1 pm daily. $25, pre-registration required at www.chicagoparkdistrict.com (listed as Music Camp at Hamlin Park on same dates/times). One of CMC's most popular programs: A week of fun, daily instruction in movement, perucssion, and visual art. Children create their own performance (under CMC's direction) that they present the final day. Please note: the fieldhouse is not air-conditioned, so please dress appropriately in loose, comfortable clothing. Lunch is not provided, so please bring a snack and a water bottle.
