TEACHER TRAINING

The Chicago Moving Company:

• Trains classroom teachers to use movement as a teaching tool, through model teaching, team teaching and solo teaching.

• Works with P.E. teachers on dance units and to expand existing curricula.

• Writes movement-based lesson plans for any subject, area of study (examples: ocean life, photosynthesis, cultures of the world).

• Conducts in-services that motivate, energize teachers and give them new ideas & resources.

• Develops and writes curricula.

• Helps teachers implement a comprehensive and sequential fine-arts program.

• Acts as dance/movement consultants.
